Before you go…


Visa. If you have a valid American or Canadian passport, you do not need a visa for stays of up to 60 days.

Language. The official language is Thai.

Currency. Thailand uses the Thai baht (THB). Since cash is widely used in the country, it’s a good idea to carry some with you. If you run out, Superrich Thailand has the best exchange rates.

Weather. The country has a humid tropical climate with two main seasons: dry season (November to March/April) and rainy season (May to October).

Electricity. Thailand uses Type A, B, C, F, and O plugs with a voltage of 220V and a frequency of 50Hz.
