As its name suggests, Mondrian Seoul Itaewon is situated in the heart of Itaewon. This is one of the most popular neighborhoods amongst foreigners, as it is widely known for its nightlife + trendy restaurants.

Inspired by its surrounding atmosphere, this immersive lifestyle destination features designs that are both expressive and playful.
It houses 295 rooms and luxurious suites, all of which have been reimagined by award-winning interior design agency, Asylum.
Getting Here
It takes approximately 90 minutes to reach Mondrian from Incheon International Airport by subway.
If you plan on taking public transit, I recommend downloading Naver Map or KakaoMap on your phone since Google Maps doesn’t really work due to Korean government regulations.
Alternatively, you can also order a ride from Kakao T, which is similar to Uber.
My friend and I were already in Seoul prior to our stay at Mondrian. That said, we actually walked here.
The hotel is very easy to find. You won’t miss it!
Check-In
As mentioned above, check-in begins at 3:00PM.
Like all hotels, early check-in is never guaranteed and depends on the availability of your room.
Superior Twin
We had the pleasure of spending two nights in the Superior Twin room.
The Superior Twin measures 237 sqft or 22 sqm. Compared to North American rooms of the same tier, this is a tiny bit smaller. However, the size of land in South Korea versus Canada or the United States is obviously different.
By Korean standards, this is definitely quite spacious. Not to mention, our room also had a decent view of Itaewon’s skyline as well as Mondrian’s outdoor pool.
Privilege Bar
This rooftop bar offers delicious cocktails in addition to incredible views of the city.
Sunset here is absolutely mesmerizing as are the nighttime views. Their signature cocktails are super yummy as well and each come with a unique story.
Note that they have a dress code.
