Adventures at Universal Studios [Singapore Edition]
I feel that the older I get, the less of a rides person I become and the more scared I am, as in my body actually can’t handle the shock. Anyone like me? Now I skipped Universal Studios at Osaka, but my friend really wanted to go check it out during our stay here in Singapore so Granny Chen here manned up and away we went!
Universal Studios is located on Sentosa Island and it is fairly easy to get to by the Sentosa Express. This train is taken at terminus station Sentosa Station on the third floor of VivoCity, which by the way is Singapore’s largest mall. Tickets are S$4 (~$3.90 CAD). Coming back is free so yes, technically $4 roundtrip. Get off at the first stop at Waterfront Station and the ride takes approximately 10 minutes or less.Waterfront Station is where Resorts World Sentosa is at. This includes Adventure Cove Waterpark, S.E.A. Aquarium, Trick Eye Museum Singapore, and Universal Studios just to name a few. There is lots to do here so Universal Studios definitely isn’t your sole choice of entertainment.
We purchased discounted tickets from Skyline Travel and Consulting Pte Ltd located in Chinatown Point mall. That said, we paid about S$94 (~$91.69 CAD) for tickets to Universal Studios + S.E.A. Aquarium + Gardens by the Bay, if I recall correctly. Their website is mostly in Chinese, but I’ll still leave the link ≪here≫ for those interested.
The park is pretty much a big circle and we went in the direction of New York first and made our way around in two and a half hours or so. It was actually pouring rain the day we visited so we didn’t go on a lot of the outdoor rides since some were closed for safety concerns.
The park really isn’t crazy big so it won’t take that long to go through the rides and shows. I was originally dreading this visit, but it turned out to be a lot more fun than I had anticipated. If it didn’t rain, I could see us spending a good afternoon here, no doubt about that.

Your outfit is super cute! Did you get a haircut? It looks good on you.
Awww thanks! I've never dressed this playful before so it was a bit out of my comfort zone. And yes, I did, thank you so much! 🙂
That should be entertaining to meet all the “heroes” in person, haha. Should recommend it to my friend’s family who will go to Singapore with kids.
