After four years of university, I’m proud and somewhat scared to say that YES, I’VE GRADUATED!!!!!!!!!!

Since my mom was visiting Kelowna and she needed a place to stay, we made a reservation at Sparkling Hill Resort. And yes, I’ve already been once so if you’d like to see that post, feel free to click ≪here≫.

This time round I reserved a lake view suite instead of the mountain view. And because my graduation was in June, it was warm and the weather was simply beautiful and everything about the resort was just picturesque. Definitely more vivid colours and a slightly different scenery from the one enjoyed back in October.
First thing’s first, we checked in then headed for dinner at PeakFine.

With every restaurant, I like to give it two tries before I decide that I don’t like it. Unfortunately, even with this second visit, I wasn’t too wow’ed and my mom was completely unimpressed. Diet and nutrition definitely play an important role in health and wellbeing so for a wellness resort, Sparkling Hill could invest a little more time and effort polishing up their menu.
The day ended with an evening stroll around the resort grounds and dessert at Barrique & Java.

Their blueberry cheesecake was the bomb. Oh and what better way to end the night than with a nice cup of hot chocolate! Mmm~
Also a hot, steaming bath. Would you look at those crystals!
We followed up the next morning with a dip at the infinity pool and I finally tried their saunas and steams!!
Aqua Meditation 30°C
Rose (Steam) 38°C
Crystal (Steam) 42°C
Herbal (Sauna) 60°C
Panorama (Sauna) 80°C
Finnish – Classic (Sauna) 90°C
Igloo 10°C
I couldn’t take any photos so these are from the Sparkling Hill Resort official site and hopefully I matched all the photos to the correct names.
I did try all of them and my favourite was definitely the Rose Steam. The wall tiles were heated and embedded with rose petals and the entire room was just filled with such fragrant and soothing rose aroma. Super relaxing. Love love love!
The Crystal Steam was also a beauty. The insides were embellished with Swarovski crystals, which like I’ve mentioned in my last visit, is what Sparkling Hill is known for. The design was so extravagant and I’d never enjoyed such a luxurious steam room before.
The Igloo was quite special too and it’s recommended after a sauna or steam to reduce the body temperature. The room was decorated with chilled marble tiles and Swarovski crystal lacquer and I could even hear crackling ice! I’m not a big fan of peppermint, but that refreshing smell complimented the cool sensation of the room and really completed this experience.

After the morning swim and the saunas and steam rooms, we were starved! Complimentary breakfast took place at PeakFine and we grabbed quick bites before checking out.

Don’t really know how to end this post now since we just checked out then strolled around the area, but there you have it! My thoughts and feelings on my second visit here at Sparkling Hill Resort.
Congratulations!! You take beautiful photos.
Wow, the resort is gorgeous. This post really makes me want to book a stay with them. And congrats on graduating! Can't wait to read more about your future adventures!!!!!
Thank you so much!
You definitely should if you get the chance to. You won't regret it 😉
Breathtaking scenery! The pictures of all the food got me hungry (despite the fact that I just had dinner). Congratulations on your graduation by the way!
The food was meh, except the cheesecake. Don't be fooled by the photos. And thanks!
Congratulations to your Graduation !
The spa area of the hotel looks so amazing, i really like when there is a big choice of saunas 🙂
Greetings
