London Eye

Tower Bridge, London Eye, Harry Potter Tour, Burger & Lobster, Lion King, yup you guessed it, London.

To conclude my summer journey, my last stop in Europe was England. I had spent five nights here (four with Jessica, one alone) and since my stay was a bit long compared to my previous trips, I’ll split this post into two parts. Stay tuned for part 2!

Annecy – little Venice of France – had always been on my top list of destinations to visit when in Europe. Since Jessica, my traveling companion who has pretty much appeared in all of my blog posts, and I purchased rail passes for four trips, the last being undecided, we agreed to pay a visit here. Joined by two other friends, we set out for a one day adventure in Annecy! View Post

A week following our second trip to Paris, Jessica and I set out to Nice to enjoy our lovely weekend at the beach. View Post

“Paris is the only city in the world where starving to death is still considered an art.”

I have been back in Canada for a few weeks now. Surprising how I was away for so long, yet I’m not suffering from post-vacation blues at all. Guess it must be because Vancouver is just as beautiful a city as anywhere else. Anyhow, thought I’d open my post today with this little quote by Carlos Ruiz Zafón from his book The Shadow of the Wind. View Post

Birthday in Paris
