You’ve probably heard of Marina Bay Sand’s famous infinity pool in Singapore. Or you’ve at least seen pictures of it on Instagram or Facebook or Pinterest, what have you. Well, for one of our nights here in Singapore, we decided to go all out and treat ourselves to a luxurious stay at this integrated resort (aka. a hotel combined with casino, high-end retail, fine dining, entertainment, etc.) that is supposedly billed as the world’s most expensive standalone casino property.

Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is, without a doubt, a must-see attraction sight in Singapore. Spanning over 250 acres of reclaimed land, this nature park plays a role in transforming Singapore into a “City in the Garden”. It is a collective park of three waterfront gardens, Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden, and Bay Central Garden, with the south being the biggest at 130 acres.

2015 is an exciting year for Singapore because it is the year of the Golden Jubilee. It marks the 50th year since August 9th, 1965, the day this city-state gained independence as the Republic of Singapore. And because this is such a grand occasion for celebration, year-long events take place under the campaign SG50 (Singapore50).
